Who we are

BrickVerse (“the app”, “the game”) is published by RSI Lab (https://www.rsi-lab.com). For anything in this policy, contact info@rsi-lab.com.

The short version

We do not ask you for your name, email, phone number or location, and we have no account system of our own. Your scores and settings are kept on your phone, and in your phone’s own backup if you have that turned on. If you are signed in to Google Play Games on Android or Game Center on iPhone, which is optional, your scores, your progress and your daily challenge streak are also sent to Google or Apple so they can appear on a leaderboard and survive a change of phone.

Everything else that leaves the device is what the advertising, payment and rating services described below need to do their job, plus usage and crash reports that tell us the game is working.

What stays on your device

Scores, unlocked levels, stars, statistics and your settings are stored in your device’s local app storage. Nothing is uploaded to a server of ours. We run no server, hold no database and have no copy of your progress. When you share a result, the picture and text go only to the app you pick, never to us.

Uninstalling the app deletes all of it from the device. Copies can exist in only two other places, and both belong to you, not us:

  • your phone’s own backup, if it is turned on (Android’s backup to your Google account, or iCloud Backup on iPhone). It keeps the game’s progress and settings with the rest of your phone’s backup, so they can come back when you reinstall or move to a new phone. You manage it in your phone’s settings.
  • the leaderboard, progress and streak data described under Google Play Games Services and Apple Game Center below, which exists only if you were signed in.

Notifications

The app can send you one reminder, and only on a day when you have a daily challenge streak and have not played yet. It is off until you switch it on, it is cancelled the moment you play, and turning it off in Settings stops it immediately.

These are local notifications: they are scheduled by the app on your own device. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else, no push service is involved, and no notification token or identifier is created or shared.

What third parties collect

Google AdMob (advertising)

The app shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure them, Google may collect:

  • your device’s advertising identifier (a resettable ID, not your name),
  • IP address and approximate, city-level location derived from it,
  • device model, operating system version and language,
  • which ads you were shown and whether you interacted with them.

Google’s use of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Your choices. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, we ask for your consent before any personalised advertising, using Google’s User Messaging Platform. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time in Settings → Ad consent options. On iPhone, Apple’s tracking prompt asks your permission first, and the advertising identifier is used only if you allow it. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).

If you decline personalised ads, the app keeps working exactly as before. You will simply see non-personalised ads instead.

We instruct Google to serve only G-rated ad content.

Google Play Games Services (leaderboards, achievements and progress backup)

This one is optional, and only on Android. The game never asks you to sign in when it starts. If you have signed in before, or you use Google Play Games with automatic sign-in turned on, Google signs you in when the game opens and shows its own welcome message. Otherwise nothing here happens until you tap Leaderboards or Achievements and sign in.

While you are signed in, Google receives:

  • your Play Games player identity, which is the account and gamer name you already use with Google Play Games, not anything we create,
  • the score for each run you finish, so it can be ranked on a leaderboard,
  • which achievements you have unlocked,
  • two small saved files, so that a new phone can pick up where the old one left off: one holds your daily challenge streak, your best streak and the date you last played; the other holds your best scores, the levels you have unlocked, your stars and your statistics, such as bricks smashed, rows cleared and games played.

These saved files are stored in your own Google Drive, in the hidden application area that only this game can read. They are yours, not ours. We never see them, and we have no way to read your leaderboard entries beyond what any player can see on the public board.

If you are never signed in, none of this happens and the game plays exactly the same. Scores, progress, achievements and your streak are all kept on the device instead.

Separately from the above, Google’s Play Games library reports its own analytics and diagnostics to Google so that Google can keep the library working. That part is Google’s, not ours: we neither request it nor receive it.

Retention and deletion. This data lives in your Google account, not with us. You can remove everything this game holds there at any time from Play Games settings, which deletes your scores, achievements and saved files for BrickVerse. We cannot do it for you, because we have no access to your account.

Apple Game Center (iPhone: leaderboards, achievements and progress backup)

On iPhone the game uses Apple’s Game Center instead, and it is just as optional. When the game opens it asks Game Center to sign you in: if you already use Game Center you only see Apple’s welcome message, and if you don’t, Apple shows its sign-in screen once. You can dismiss it and play exactly the same.

While you are signed in, Apple receives your Game Center identity, the score for each run you finish, which achievements you have unlocked, and the same two small saved files described above, kept in your own iCloud account so that a new iPhone can pick up where the old one left off. Apple’s use of this data is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.

Retention and deletion. This data lives in your Apple account, not with us. You can manage or delete it from Game Center and iCloud in your iPhone’s Settings, or from Apple’s Data and Privacy page. We cannot do it for you, because we have no access to your account.

Google Play Billing / Apple In-App Purchase (payments)

If you buy “Remove Ads”, the purchase is handled entirely by Google Play or the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. The store tells the app only whether the purchase is owned, so we can turn ads off.

Google Play and App Store ratings

After a good moment, such as a flawless level or a new best, the game may ask Google Play or the App Store to show its rating prompt. The store decides whether to show it, and any rating or review you leave goes to the store under your own account, not to us.

Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics (app health)

So that we can tell whether the game works and fix it when it does not, the app reports usage events (for example, that a game was started or a level cleared) and crash diagnostics. Google may collect:

  • a randomly generated app instance identifier, which is not your name and is discarded when you uninstall,
  • your device’s advertising identifier (the same resettable ID described under Google AdMob above; on iPhone, only if you allow tracking),
  • device model, operating system version, country and language,
  • the events above and, after a crash, the stack trace and the state of the app at that moment.

No name, email address, phone number or precise location is collected. We do not use these reports for advertising, and we do not sell or share them.

Retention. We store none of this ourselves. Google retains analytics events for at most 14 months and crash reports for at most 90 days, after which they are deleted automatically.

Deleting your data

The app has no account, so there is nothing for us to look up and nothing for you to close. To remove what exists:

WhatWhere it livesHow to delete it
Scores, levels, stars, settingsOn your device, and in your phone’s own backup if that is turned onUninstall the app. It is gone from the device permanently and immediately. Your phone’s backup is managed in your phone’s settings.
Advertising identifierGoogleReset or delete it in your device settings, or manage it at My Ad Center.
Usage and crash reportsGoogleDeleted automatically (14 months / 90 days). To request earlier deletion, email info@rsi-lab.com.
Leaderboard scores, achievements and the progress and streak backup (Android)Your own Google accountOnly exists if you were signed in. Delete it yourself at Play Games settings, which removes your data for this game from your account. We cannot delete it for you, because it is held under your account and not ours.
Game Center scores, achievements and the progress and streak backup (iPhone)Your own Apple account and iCloudOnly exists if you were signed in to Game Center. Manage or delete it from Game Center and iCloud in your iPhone’s Settings, or at privacy.apple.com. We cannot delete it for you.

For anything else, email info@rsi-lab.com and we will respond within 30 days. We may ask which device and approximate date you used the app, because without an account that is the only way to identify the records.

Children

BrickVerse is a general-audience game. It is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact info@rsi-lab.com and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, or to object to its processing.

Because the app holds no personal data of its own, most of these rights are exercised directly rather than by asking us. Deleting your data above lists where each kind of data lives and how to remove it. To exercise any right not covered there, email info@rsi-lab.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Residents of California may request that we not “sell” or “share” personal information. We do not sell personal information. Declining personalised ads in the consent options also acts as an opt-out of sharing for targeted advertising.

Security

The app makes no network requests of its own beyond the Google and Apple services described above, and stores nothing on a server we control, because we operate no server. Where data does travel, it travels between your device and those services over encrypted connections managed by their own SDKs.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top and, where required, ask for your consent again inside the app.
